Bhandarkars’ College Library has a very good library with a collection of more than 95,500 books on various topics of interest for both the faculty arid   student   community.   The   library is functioning as a knowledge hub of the college. The library will be kept open from morning 8.30 AM to 5.15 PM in the evening in all working days. Both the faculty and students have the privileges to borrow books from the library. Books for references will be provided in the Evening in all working days. Efforts are made to computerize library functions and developing it has a learning resource center of the college.

The library is in the process to build and develop robust collections of documents of both print based resources and digital resources. The library collections consist of good number of reference materials and text books for the need of the student community. The library is subscribing good number of scholarly journals and popular magazines. Which are highly useful for faculty and students to engage in research and cultivate research skills. Every day on an average 120 students visits college library for borrowing books and for referencing. The succeeding section of this report provides detailed information on library collections, services provided for students and teaching community, best practices that is being practiced and future plan to enhance the quality of the library services at the Bhandarkars’ Art and Science College Kundapura. 

Working Hours:

Mondays to Fridays: 8.00 am - 5.15 pm

Saturdays: 8.00 am - 01.30 pm

It remains closed on Sundays and declared holidays
